Last Friends

Finished another Japanese drama, Last Friends. I watched this because it features 1 of the Japanese Actresses that I like, Nagasawa Masami aka 長澤正美, as Michiru. Came to know her when I saw Proposal Daisakusen previously. I like her smile, so pretty & nice that it will melt my heart... Another actresses that was featured was Ueno Juri aka 上野树里, as Ruka. She stars in Nodame Cantabile. Initially, I didn't know about it until I read the description of her previous dramas then I realised, maybe because of the hairstyle.

This is the 1st time that I saw this type of drama. It consists of GGR (girl-girl relationship), DV (domestic violence) & incest (which was not covered in detail). While watching this drama, you will feel your blood boiling in the way that you will want to bash up 1 of this character. Maybe because I can't stand guys hitting girls for no reason. Somemore this guy is beating up my idol. Damn... So that's for the DV portion in this drama. As for GGR, its actually one-sided love of Ruka. She liked Michiru since their school life. Since young, Ruka dislikes wearing skirts which in turn thinks that she has gender disorder. She's also a motocross competitor. She did not reveal her feelings until she was talking to her friend, Takeru (Eita aka 瑛太) & Michiru happen to hear it.

As for incest, it actually did not cover much in the drama, but this is what I think, so it may not be correct. Takeru seems to be afraid of his sister, possibly because she somehow "touched" him when he was still a small kid. This could be why he is trying to keep away from his sister.

Overall, I will give 4.5/5 for this drama. It is a drama filled with love, anger & friendship. Its worth a watch.
